As a serial entrepreneur, I’ve spent most of my career launching and growing start-up companies. That meant a lot of travel… on very tight budgets. Out of necessity, I learned how to stretch every dollar while still flying across the country—and eventually, the world.

Over time, I became obsessed with learning everything I could about
